This bracelet originally comes from one of China's most famous temples, Lingyin Temple. Once, people had to wake up early and queue to enter the temple in order to obtain one.

Its full name is the "Lingyin Temple Eighteen Seeds Bracelet," as it is made of eighteen different materials, with each bead symbolizing a unique blessing: Friendship, Peace of mind, Courage, Strength, Happiness, Good fortune, Wealth, Wisdom, Romance, Career, Protection from evil, Hope, Safety, and Health.

I used to dislike following trends and, although I knew it carried beautiful meanings, I found it rather ordinary and couldn't understand why it was so popular, with everyone online talking about it.

That was until I visited Lingyin Temple to pray. As I was leaving, the front desk staff at the guesthouse suggested that if I came across the Eighteen Seeds Bracelet, I should get one, as it was said to bring good luck.

So, I got a few for myself and my friends. When I put it on, I was pleasantly surprised—it looked simple yet elegant. Moreover, I seemed to have truly gained some of its luck. On my way out of Hangzhou, I was almost late for my high-speed train due to traffic, but fortunately, I encountered a skilled driver who knew the roads well and helped me make it on time.

Now, it has become a must-have item for me whenever I go out, not only for its aesthetic appeal but also for the good fortune it brings. Each bracelet is engraved with the characters "Lingyin" on the Buddha's head, ensuring its authenticity.

  2. The shape and color of each bead of 18 seeds will be different, since they are natural and handmade.
